Bands

JORGE & SARAH DUO

Featuring Jorge Gavidia on guitar and Sarah Begin on vocals, the duo plays a variety of Jazz, Blues, and Latin music appropriate for ceremonies, cocktails, receptions, restaurants and parties.

SPEAKEASY JAZZ BAND

This five piece jazz band plays a variety of modern and traditional Jazz and Latin Jazz standards suitable for ceremonies, cocktails, receptions, and parties.

STORYVILLE PROJECT

This high energy party band plays a versatile repertoire that includes Funk, R&B, Motown, and our own arrangements of classic Hip Hop. The band consists of vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone.

EL PROYECTO

El Proyecto plays a wide variety of Latin Music for parties. The band features a Horn Section, Conga & Percussion, Cuban Tres, and Male and Female Singers. Their repertoire consists of classic Salsa, Son, Cha Cha and Bolero, as well as Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova.

JORGE GAVIDIA & SARAH BEGIN QUINTET

Jorge and Sarah’s original music project. The band’s recent album “You Never Know” is a relaxing yet edgy mix of Jazz and Blues tunes sprinkled with odd time signatures. Featuring 9 original compositions, the album is a modern look at Cool Jazz and the Blues. In 2010 the band received positive reviews from Toronto Jazz Magazine and JazzTimes.

Jorge & Sarah’s various projects have participated in various festivals including the 2009, 2010, and 2011 TD Canada Trust Jazz Festival.
